Private diagnostics and tests

Tests lead to results. Speedy results lead to peace of mind and action. Whether you want to get your symptoms checked, or you’re looking for a second opinion, we can help. And you don’t need a referral from your NHS GP to be seen.

Diagnostics or diagnostic tests simply means the ability to analyse and diagnose various diseases or other medical conditions whether that’s from a medical examination, a blood test or something like an ultrasound scan so your doctor or consultant can make a medical diagnosis.

We give you speedy results

Quick tests. Quick results. Our appointments are available at a time that works for you and there is no need to get a referral from your NHS GP.

We’ll always get your results back to you as soon as possible because we understand no-one likes waiting for test results.

Pathology tests or laboratory tests are often, but not always, blood tests and are one of the quickest, least invasive ways of identifying any issues to find out, for example, if you have diabetes, an overactive or underactive thyroid or even your blood type.

We have a very experienced team who work closely with our doctors to make sure that not only is it quick and convenient to come to us to have an ultrasound scan, but to ensure you get an outstanding service. There’s no wait and you can have a doctor consultation before and directly after your scan to explain your results in detail with you.

Our ultrasound procedures scan the abdomen, pelvis, thyroid and we also do musculoskeletal ultrasound scans.

Sexual health and STI checks

Whether you’ve recently had unprotected sex with a new partner or you just want to make sure you’re checked out as sexually transmitted infections (STIs) don’t always show symptoms, book in with one of our GPs. They’ll talk through any concerns you may have, and get your results back to you quickly because no-one likes waiting for important results.

At our Birmingham based clinic, we carry out a full range of STI testing, including chlamydia and gonorrhoea tests, and can prescribe treatment where necessary. If you’re experiencing symptoms of an STI/STD or need sexual health advice we’re on hand to offer you expert help and treatment.
